Financing InfertilityIn recent years more and more insurances are starting to cover infertility diagnostic testing and some basic infertility treatment at the same time others are dropping their IVF benefits. While insurance coverage is still rare for IVF it is more likely to be offered through a large employer group. We realize that each couple’s situation is different, but for many couples the cost of infertility can be an added source of stress to the infertility process. Our goal at CCRM is to help you be informed about your insurance coverage on insurance that we participate with, and we will provide you with additional resources to manage the financial aspects of your care. If you have any insurance questions, please contact our Business Office at 303-781-1085. Insurance Information: For patients with insurance companies that we participate with, we will submit all eligible claims from insurances on the patient’s behalf. If you have an IVF benefit, we must have benefits in writing before submitting claims, and we will supply you with the predetermination letter needed to submit to your insurance company. The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine participates in the following insurances for patients with
infertility benefits:
In addition at CCRM we have helped many patients with insurance carriers we do not participate with, as these patients access their out-of-network options to receive care at CCRM. We will provide you with claim forms so you can bill your insurance company, and your insurance company will reimburse you directly for your care. Loan Programs: CCRM has arranged a simplified, confidential bank loan program through two local banks, Wells Fargo and the Bank of Cherry Creek. For more information about loan programs available to CCRM patients, please contact a Patient Finance Representative at 303-781-1085. CCRM has no financial interests in these loan programs, and they are only offered for the benefit of patients requesting them. Shared Risk Programs and Guaranteed IVF: CCRM now offers our patients the IntegraMed™ Shared Risk Refund® program. CCRM has absolutely no ownership or financial interest in IntegraMed. At CCRM the medical care provided to patients is never different because they are participating in a guaranteed refund package. IntegraMed’s Shared Risk Program is attractive to patients who would like to fix the costs of IVF treatment with a guaranteed refund if treatment does not result in a baby. In the Shared Risk Program the financial risks associated with IVF treatment is distributed among all patients participating in the Program. Patients who take a baby home after one IVF cycle pay more than patients not participating in a Shared Risk Program, but at the same time patients who fail to take a baby home pay much less than couples not participating in the Shared Risk Program. IntegraMed developed their program to reduce a couple’s anxiety by fixing the cost associated with multiple IVF cycles. The IntegraMed Shared Risk Refund Program is available exclusively in Colorado at CCRM. Couples meeting the eligibility requirements may attempt up to three fresh cycles and three frozen embryo transfers for a fixed discounted fee. If treatment is not successful you get a significant amount of money refunded. For more information about IntegraMed’s Shared Risk Program offered to CCRM patients, please contact our Business Office staff at 303-781-1085. Please note that not all couples will meet the eligibility requirements.
